Czech Agrifood Research Center (CARC), a public research institution, was established by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. It was formed on January 1, 2025, through the merger of three research institutes: the Crop Research Institute, the Research Institute of Agricultural Engineering, and the Food Research Institute Prague. The Centre focuses on a wide range of research areas, including soil management, genetics, plant breeding and protection, agricultural engineering, and food safety and production.

Following the merger, CARC became a member of AZET, continuing the long-standing membership of the former Research Institute of Agricultural Engineering in the association.
