Agrostroj Pelhřimov has opened its own secondary school.

Agrostroj Pelhřimov, a leading Czech manufacturer of agricultural machinery, launched a new technically oriented secondary school – the Agrostroj Academy – on September 1, 2025. The school offers two three-year vocational programs: Operator – Programmer of Industrial Robots and Setter – Programmer of CNC Technologies, each with a capacity of 25 students.

The Agrostroj Academy places strong emphasis on combining theoretical instruction with practical training directly in the company’s production facilities. Students will work with modern technologies, including industrial robots and CNC machines, gaining skills that match the current needs of industry. The program also includes international internships and study visits with Agrostroj’s global partners such as Scania, Volvo, and John Deere.

Students can receive scholarships of up to CZK 5,000 per month and have the option of accommodation in newly built company apartments in Pelhřimov. Those interested may also continue their studies at technical secondary schools in Pelhřimov or Jihlava in order to obtain a full secondary school diploma.

For the purposes of the Academy, Agrostroj has built a new school facility with modern infrastructure, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and devices that meet current industrial standards. The company has invested CZK 300 million in the construction and equipment of the school. This investment is intended to provide students with a high-quality environment for both learning and practical training.

The founder and CEO of Agrostroj, Lubomír Stoklásek, has long supported the development of technical education and has criticized the insufficient preparedness of graduates for the practical demands of the labor market. Mr. Stoklásek therefore decided to take active steps and invest in educating a new generation of technically skilled workers. His goal is to create an educational system that prepares students for real working environments and contributes to the development of industry in the region.
